A favorite trip...

A secret phone call with special instructions...

A drive through a beautiful country...

A stop at a local market...

A hike through the Alps...

And the opportunity of a lifetime...

We watched the Swiss jets rip through the air practicing their formations and shooting at targets on the other side of the valley. I still smile every time I think of that day.

The one that got away...

Have you ever seen something that you really wanted to buy and you decided that you didn't need it? When you think about it...we really don't NEED much of what we buy. Sometimes we buy it and realize that it was a waste of money...sometimes we wish we would've bought more. I fly for a living and when I saw this at the antique fair I about cried. I'm not a shopper...I can't stand shopping...but this was different. It was unique, it had character, it was appropriate, and it was like $400! I almost wish I hadn't taken a picture to remind myself...

Giving this a try...

I'm not sure what made me wake up on Black Friday and want to start a blog, but I'm going with it. I've been intrigued by the idea of blogs for a while now...and I appreciate them as places to share ideas..(as well as a place to keep them organized!)
